SHOPPERS and pub revellers in Coventry have been warned to be vigilant after reports of a number of counterfeit bank notes in the city.
Police have received information of fake £20 and £50 notes in circulation.
Officers are urging people to check their notes after cash transactions and to report any incidents of fake notes by calling police on 101 or via live chat at west-midlands.police.uk
