THE UNIVERSITY of Warwick has been named the 10th best university in the UK, according to a new world ranking.
Warwick has come in 10th out of 91 universities as well as being named the 67th best in the world.
The QS World University Rankings rates 1,500 institutions from 104 countries, with Warwick now in the top 5 per cent globally.
It is also ranked in the top 10 in the UK for its academic reputation, reputation with employers, and graduate outcomes.
The QS rankings see each university judged on research, employability and outcomes, learning experience, global engagement and sustainability.
Professor Stuart Croft, Vice Chancellor of the University of Warwick said: “I’m delighted to see Warwick has been ranked so highly, both in the UK and globally.
“For us to be rated within the top 5 per cent of institutions globally is hugely encouraging and reflects the wonderful expertise, teaching and research we have.
