Warwickshire businesses invited to help shape the policing budget

BUSINESSES are invited to help shape Warwickshire’s policing budget.

Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Seccombe is beginning work on the 2026/27 policing budget and will be hosting an online Business Feedback Session on Thursday January 15 from 8am to 9am via Microsoft Teams.

The event forms part of a wider public consultation, which will launch in late December/early January once the Government has confirmed its funding allocations for policing for the year ahead, allowing the commissioner to make his proposals. A final budget for 2026/27 will then be set in February.

Mr Seccombe said: “Businesses play a vital role in our communities and their insight is essential in shaping policing priorities across Warwickshire. This session is a great opportunity for those working in industry, the retail sector and rural businesses to take part and share their views as part of the public consultation which will help me ensure that the budget I set reflects what local people want policing to deliver. Your feedback will help ensure the budget reflects the needs of Warwickshire’s diverse economy and supports efforts to keep people and property safe.”
