A 23-YEAR-OLD Warwickshire man will today (April 14) appear before Westminster Magistrates Court charged with terrorism offences.
Ben Styles, of Plymouth Place, Leamington Spa, was arrested on Monday April 12 by detectives from Counter Terrorism Policing West Midlands CTU.
He was charged yesterday (April 13) with offences under section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006 (commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism) and three counts of section 58 offences under Terrorism Act 2000 (possessing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism).
Mr Styles has been remanded in custody to appear at the Central Criminal Court in London on April 30.
