SEVERN Trent has now completed work to repair a leak near Coventry’s University Hospital.
Staff found and repaired the leak on Clifford Bridge Road on Monday before filling in the excavation, repairing the pothole and reinstating the road.
The firm has been trying to locate the Clifford Bridge Road leak since last Wednesday.
A lane closure needed to be put in place so Severn Trent could dig in the carriageway.
Sven Brown, Water Network Regional Lead at Severn Trent said it took precautions to minimise any disruption caused by our roadworks.
A spokesperson for Severn Trent said it expected to have opened the road by Wednesday (September 20) at the latest barring any unforeseen circumstances.
