POLICE have urged those involved in football disorder building up to a Coventry City fixture to come forward, adding “we are coming for you”.

West Midlands Police have released images of those suspected of being involved in violence and unrest.

The incidents took place before November’s football match between Coventry City FC and Mansfield Town FC.

In total 20 images have been released of suspects officers want to speak to in connection with the disorder on Foleshill Road on Saturday November 11.

Detectives investigating these offences have seized CCTV and camera footage and are working hard to identify those involved.

Superintendent Nick Rowe, head of the Football Unit, said: “Anyone who witnessed this disorder is urged to come forward or anyone who can identify those involved should contact us immediately.

“If anyone does recognise themselves, get in touch now as we will be out looking for you at the forthcoming matches or you will get a knock on the door from us when you least expect it.

“The message is really clear, we are coming for you.”

If you have any information which could help the investigation, please contact the football unit by emailing [email protected] at the earliest opportunity.
