THE Lord-Lieutenant of the West Midlands, John Crabtree OBE, visited Coventry City Council House on Thursday to sign one of the books of condolence for Queen Elizabeth II.
He was joined by Coventry Lord Mayor Coun Kevin Maton, who added his personal message to the book in memory of the Queen.
The books will remain available over the next few weeks before being forwarded to Buckingham Palace.
The book at the Council House is open to members of the public along with one at Coventry Cathedral and in all 17 of the city’s libraries.
A virtual book, which has had over 300 contributions so far, is available on the council website.
