West Orchards plan a feast of fun activities for summer holidays

A HOST of exciting activities will be on offer to keep youngsters entertained at West Orchards shopping centre this summer.

As part of the centre’s family fun events, youngsters – and parents – will be able to take advantage of free entertainment during the school holidays.

Each week, West Orchards will be hosting movie inspired events for the family to enjoy as part of its Children’s Fun Club.

On Friday, July 28, Disney’s Art Attack host Lloyd Warbey will be crafting slithering Shere Khan snakes from The Jungle Book .

Elsewhere Coventry Library will host storytelling sessions every Wednesday between 11am and 3pm.

KBN Reptiles will also be on hand on Friday, August 18, to bring along some new friends as part of Animal Encounters afternoon in The Loft on level three.

West Orchards centre manager Andy Talbot is looking forward to the summer events.

He said: “Our Summer Fun Club events are a great way for kids to meet new friends and get involved with the different stories and competitions.

“We are proud that we can offer free entertainment for families over the school holidays.

Each event will raise funds for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.
