A CHARITY race day to raise funds for the Myton Hospices has been organised by property professionals from the Wigley Group.
The inaugural Wigley Property Race Day will see more than 140 property professionals watch the 2021/22 Jump Racing season finale as well as enjoying a three-course a la carte meal in the Paddock Pavilion at Warwick Racecourse on May 25.
There will also be a charity auction and a keynote speaker.
The gates will be open from 3pm, with a packed schedule of races starting from 5pm.
The races are sponsored by the likes of Newton LDP, Rosconn, Catesby Estates and Rainier Developments.
The Myton Hospices provide care and support from people with terminal illness and their families in Coventry and Warwickshire.
Wigley Group chief executive officer James Davies said: “We are delighted to be hosting our first ever Wigley Property Race Day which is promising to be a really great end to the race season.
“Unfortunately a lot of people know someone who has used the hospices’ services which is why we wanted to be able to support the fantastic work they do.
Myton’s corporate fund-raiser Yasmin Audhali added: “Events and support like this make such a huge difference to our ability to continue to provide our services, free of charge, to terminally ill patients and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire.
“We know it is going to be a fantastic occasion and we hope guests will dig deep and donate as much money as possible through the various fund-raising opportunities on the day.”
