A WOMAN, 18, has been stabbed in Coventry after an attempted daylight robbery by a group of masked men.
She was knifed twice in her back in St James Lane, Willenhall, just after 2.30pm yesterday (August 6) after she and her friend were surrounded by the men who demanded money.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Police were alerted to a stabbing in which an 18-year-old woman suffered injuries to her back.
“It’s understood the woman was with a friend when they were approached by a group of around six males, who had their faces covered, who demanded cash and jewellery.
“The woman suffered two stab wounds to her back but she was thankfully not seriously injured.
