BUILDERS have moved in near Keresley with work starting on a 52 home development.
Properties at the site off Grove Lane – near the M6 Corley services – will be a mix of low rent and shared ownership, ranging from two-bedroom bungalows to three-bedroom houses.
The £4.3 million scheme is being delivered by Midland Heart, with partners Westleigh and EC Harris, and is due to be completed by autumn next year.
Gino Siani, head of new business at Westleigh, said: “This is an exciting new development that will provide a wide range of much needed affordable homes to the local community and is a great example of our ability to put brownfield sites back to good use.”
