Youngsters bailed as police investigate attack on 12-year-old boy at Resorts World

THREE teenagers suspected of attacking a 12-year-old at Resorts World in Solihull have been bailed.

Officers from West Midlands Police are investigating an attack on the youngster outside Resorts World at around 3pm on Monday (July 20).

A 14-year-old and two 13-year-olds were arrested and were released after being held in police custody.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “Officers were called after a 12-year-old boy was beaten by three boys, who were all wearing dark clothing.

“He was taken to hospital to be checked over and fortunately, only sustained minor injuries. It’s not believed any weapon was used, though a knife was believed to have been seen.

“The two boys aged 13, and a 14-year-old boy who were arrested from the scene have been bailed subject to conditions.
