COVENTRY Godiva Harriers headed to Wolverhampton for the second league fixture of the cross country season.
The ladies were up first and Freya Bennett led the team home with a 12th place finish with Daisy Davitt 117th and 24th junior on her league debut.
In hot pursuit, Jayne Mumford crossed the line in 118th and 46th master with Sophia Charters in 133rd completing Godiva’s scorers.
The ladies scored 380 points which leaves them bottom of the table at the halfway stage.
Further back, Dewi Dankmeyer 139th, Shona Murrary 147th and 26th junior, Jodie Greenfiled 148th and Flavie Rasson 159th all completed the race
In the men’s race, Will Fuller in 18th led Godiva home with Dan Clarke 25th and fourth master and Scott Hudspith 42nd all finishing inside the top-50.
Slightly further back, Joe McLeod 69th, Adam Jackson 104th and 21st junior and Andy Boon 113th and 24th master completed the club’s scorers.
In total, the A team scored 371 points to finish 10th on the day and have moved away from the relegation spot.
Further back, Dan Dalton led the B team home in 137th with David Cooper 146th, Pete Eccleston 149th and 39th master, Jason Brotherhood 179th and 57th master, Matt Haldum 180th and Sam Katanda 181st and 51st master.
Also completing the race were Max Chapman in 202nd , Will Averill in 207th, Waising Yip in 216th (78th master), Maddox in 222nd and Nick Bennett in 233rd (91st master).
