COVENTRY Godiva Harriers presented their senior cross country awards to athletes in the clubhouse at their home track.

Jo McLeod was named Men’s Club Champion for 2021/22 whilst Julie Emmerson was announced as the Women’s Club Champion.

And Amelia Starling claimed the Norma Pugh Handicap Trophy whilst Nick Bennett took the Bettman Handicap Trophy.

All male and female athletes who were in the first 12 places for Godiva in the Birmingham League (men) and Midland League (women) received prizes.

The Club Champion award is now decided at the National Cross Country Championships and is given to the first Godiva past the post.

And the Handicap Trophy is decided over the league fixtures that the men and women compete in over the course of the cross country season.
