COVENTRY Godiva Harriers’ under-17 and under-20 teams came away with an impressive 44 medals at the Youth Development League National Finals in Manchester, writes Jake Minshull.
The team joined forces with Leamington at the Manchester Regional Arena and finished a brilliant fifth place overall.
There were some fantastic performances from all athletes who worked hard all day in their normal events as well as filling gaps in less familiar events.
And Godiva won 15 A string medals and 29 B string medals in an excellent showing from the team.
The club would like to extend a thank you to all parents, athletes, officials, coaches and team managers who made it a day to remember.
