BLAZE will make a late decision over whether Rory Rawlyk will feature against Dundee Stars in their Elite League clash on Saturday night.
The Canadian defenceman sustained a blow to the lower leg blocking a shot in the first period of the Challenge Cup Group B defeat at Cardiff Devils on Sunday.
But x-rays earlier this week showed no break and he will continue to be assessed ahead of the trip to his former club where Blaze will be looking to maintain their 100 per cent record in the league.
Coach Marc LeFebvre said: “Rory continues to be day to day and we will see how he is tomorrow. He will be on the trip and it will be a late call.
“Things are looking positive but the medical staff will decide. We will do whatever is best for the player and the team.”
“We came in fresh and ready to go on Tuesday and are focused on Dundee and getting the two points.
“It is always a tough test when you go to Scotland and they will be looking to turn around their early-season fortunes.
“But we have got a good streak going in the league and we want that to continue.”
