ICE HOCKEY: DEFENCEMAN Kevin Noble will once again fly ‘down under’ to represent Team Canada at the Ice Hockey Classic in Australia.
Appearing for the first time last summer, Noble helped Canada defeat the USA 3-2 in an entertaining five-game series.
This year, the series – which helps to raise awareness and funds for the StopConcussions Foundation – has been reduced from five games to two games.
The first game will be held in Sydney tomorrow night (June 17) while the second fixture takes place next Saturday.
An exhibition game between the two sides also took place on Wednesday in Newcastle, Australia.
Joining Noble on the Canada roster will be former Blaze forward Kevin Harvey, who has been a regular at the event.
Team USA will also feature well-known names to Elite League fans with Joe Fallon of Dundee Stars and Michael Forney of Belfast Giants and Sheffield Steelers icing in the series.
