COVENTRY City have signed forward Peter Vincenti on a two-year deal from Rochdale.

The 30-year-old is the latest summer signing as boss Mark Robins seeks to bounce straight back from League Two after relegation last season.

He is billed as mainly a winger, although he can also play in a more centre-forward role and as an attacking midfielder.

The Jersey-born player turned pro with Milwall, and has played for Mansfeild Town and Aldershot Town, where he made over 100 appearances between 2011 and 2013, scoring 14 goals.

Vincenti signed for then League Two side Rochdale in May 2013.

He has scored 27 goals in 131 appearances for Rochdale.

He has also featured in the Jersey national team.
