BREAKING: Personal reasons force Ladd to quit Blaze

Coventry Editorial 13th Nov, 2017   0

ICE HOCKEY: AMERICAN forward Garrett Ladd has departed Coventry Blaze due to personal reasons.

The 28-year-old becomes the first player to exit Blaze this season and leaves with the club’s best wishes having become a regular on the Blaze bench.

After overcoming a lengthy pre-season injury, Ladd iced in 12 Elite League and Challenge Cup games – scoring three goals and picking up as many assists.

Blaze coach Danny Stewart said: “Garrett has informed us of his desire to return to North America.

“As a club we thank him for his efforts while he’s been with us and wish him nothing but the best for his future.”
