FOOTBALL: DEFENDER Ryan Haynes has this morning signed a new two-year deal to stay with Coventry City.

The 21-year-old made 27 appearances for Mark Robins’ side last season and his new deal will start tomorrow.

The academy graduate made his professional debut in 2013 and has since been a part of the Wembley-winning Checkatrade Trophy Final squad in April this year.

Haynes becomes the fourth City player to sign a new contract, following Chris Stokes and fellow Academy Graduates Lee Burge and Dion Kelly-Evans committing to the Sky Blues.
