COVENTRY City’s retail partner Elite Sports Group have entered administration with ‘urgent discussions’ ongoing with regards to the current situation with the club shop and online store.
The club are working with interested parties to ensure club shop’s and the online store can reopen as soon as possible with fans to be updated in due course.
Supporters could lose out on payments made for any orders yet to be fulfilled following Elite Sports Group’s administration which has also affected other clubs.
A club statement read: “Coventry City are in urgent discussions regarding the current situation with the Club Shop and online store.
“This follows the Club being made aware that its retail partner Elite Sports Group have entered administration, which has affected ourselves and a number of other clubs who they work with.
“Coventry City are working with interested parties to get the Club Shops and online store open as soon as possible, and we will update fans as soon as possible regarding this.
“We are in discussions regarding orders which have been made in recent days which are yet to be fulfilled. We are speaking directly with the fulfilment warehouse to seek clarity on those orders that may be affected, and will provide a further update shortly.
“The Club Shop at the Coventry Building Society Arena and West Orchards remain closed – the Ticket Office at the Arena is ran by Coventry City and remains open. Due to the current situation affecting the Club Shop, the Ticket Office is temporarily being operating from the Matchday Ticket Collection window.”
