COVENTRY CITY’s Checkatrade Trophy semi-final fixture will be played on the week commencing Monday, February 6, unless opponents Wycombe require a replay against Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup fourth round, we can confirm.
The Ricoh Arena fixture, which sees the Sky Blues one game away from Wembley, is likely to be played on Tuesday, February 7 – but could be moved if Wycombe draw against Spurs in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round tomorrow.
Confusion has reigned today among Coventry City fans, given the EFL’s website states the semi-final fixture is due to be played on the week commencing February 20.

Coventry’s place in the semi-final was confirmed on Tuesday night when Jordan Willis’ late header forced the club’s quarter final clash against Swansea Under 21s to penalties – which the Sky Blues won 4-2.
A tough fixtures awaits City though, as Wycombe have not been beaten since Coventry put four goals past the Chairboys on Wednesday, November 9, last year.
