A NEW-look Coventry & Warwickshire side fell to their second defeat of the season in a seven-goal thriller away at Streetly on Saturday in the Midland League Division Two.
It was always going to be a hard task for Coventry who fielded several new players as they fell to a 4-3 defeat.
Streetly took no time in taking an early lead but ten minutes later they were overhauled by two quick goals, first by Ricky Saund wrong footed the home keeper and then Dom Bell emphatically put away a short corner.
Streetly got themselves back on level terms again only for Bell to convert a corner won by Saund as the visitors took a narrow 3-2 lead into the break.
Another early goal levelled the scores again and Waqa Akbar was weaving his magic to create chances which were not converted.
Robust tackling got Streetly into trouble and they were awarded two yellow cards but they were back up to full numbers to score the winner minutes from time.
This Saturday Coventry host Hampton-in-Arden.
