GREAT Britain fans will be able to watch their national heroes on the Skydome ice next month when they take on Poland in an international friendly.
The two sides go head-to-head in Coventry on April 10 ahead of their respective World Championship tournaments later this year.
Last season’s clash was played in front of a large crowd and continued the tradition of thrilling matches between the two nations.
Poland came close to promotion to the World Championship elite level last season, while GB won silver and just missed out on promotion to Division 1A with a heartbreaking final-day defeat by Lithuania in Netherlands.
Blaze trio Ashley Tait, Russell Cowley and Ross Venus are expected to feature and Andrew Dixon, advises Coventry’s City of Culture bid, feels it is another example of what the city has to offer.
He said: “World class sport is now a permanent fixture in Coventry and it is another great way of bringing people into the city. We hope the event is a great success.”
Tickets for the match start at £14 for adults, £10 for OAPs and students, £7 for under-16s and family ticket packages (two adults and two children) are priced at £36. Ticket prices do increase when purchased after 11:59pm on April 3.
