CYCLING - Team Enable continue fine time trial form

COVENTRY-based Team Enable-MI Racing-McCann continued their fine season with several time trial victories at a variety of events.

In the Leamington Cycling and Athletics Club open 10-mile race, held on the Dunchurch A45 course, Mark Wise was second in the veteran on standard section with a time of 21 minutes 50 seconds.

And veteran Didi Egerton-Warburton finished second fastest overall in the ladies race in 23 mins 54 secs while Ben Rooney’s 23-minute ride earned the trio the team prize.

The following week, at the Rugby RCC open 10-mile race, Simon Law was first on standard with an exceptional time of 20 mins 37 secs.

And teammate Wise won the 55 to 59 section in 21 mins 29 secs while Greg Ashley’s 22 mins 37 secs helped the Coventry club claim another team prize.

Lastly, Andy Jackson was fastest at the Coventry CC and Leamington Cycling and Athletics Club evening 10-mile event in a time of 23 mins 28 secs.
