ROB O’Connor received a certificate of recognition at the British Cycling Awards held in Manchester following his National Road Race Championship victory earlier this year.

The veteran rider received his award from Paralympic GB cyclist Matthew Robertson who won bronze in Paris this summer.

O’Connor won the over-65 British Cycling Open Masters National Road Race Championships in Devon in August.

Riding for Coventry-based Team Enable-Townsend Vehicle Hire-MI Racing, he won the open 65 to 69-years-old race.

O’Connor conquered the hilly 60-mile route competing against some of the best riders from across the United Kingdom.
