NUNEATON-based rider Dave Mead starred for Team MI Racing after winning two time trial events racing for the team founded by cycling legend Mick Ives.

Mead triumphed in the Coventry Cycling Club Diana Cook Memorial 10-mile time trial in a time of 20 minutes 25 seconds.

The event, held in memory of former Coventry Cycling Club member Diana Cook, took place for the 40th time.

Mead topped the podium with teammates Simon Law and David Garrett fourth and 18th respectively.

And Mead also won Droitwich Cycling Club’s 10-mile time trial event in 20 minutes 31 seconds as the Nuneaton rider secured his first wins of the 2026 season.
