ICE HOCKEY: RYAN Dingle wants Coventry Blaze to win the Patton Conference following the club’s 6-4 home win against Milton Keynes.
Blaze, who share the Patton Conference with Milton Keynes, Manchester and Guildford, are third having secured 13 points from 11 games.
But they have two games in hand over table topping Manchester (15 points) and four games in hand over Milton Keynes (14 points), leaving Blaze in contention of claiming top spot.
Dingle said: “We went into Sunday’s game looking for two points.
“We were hoping for more this weekend but we’re satisfied with a win at home in front of our home fans.
“We’re trying to win the conference.”
