FOOTBALL - Coventry City agree new one-year deals with seven under-21 players

COVENTRY City have confirmed seven of the club’s under-21 players have agreed new one-year deals with the Sky Blues.

Tristen Batanwi, Elliot Betjemann, Riccardo Di Trolio, Charlie Finney, Greg Sandiford Jr, Rylie Siddall and Kai Yearn will all remain with Coventry next season.

Batanwi, Betjemann, Finney and Siddall are all products of the club’s academy.

All four players signed their first professional contracts with Coventry last season.

Di Trolio spent last season on loan at Welling United in the National League South.

He joined the Sky Blues from St Albans City in 2022.




Former Cambridge United duo Sandiford Jr and Yearn joined City from the U’s last summer.

Sandiford Jr featured in Coventry’s first team matchday squad on several occasions last season.
