COVENTRY City have confirmed the appointment of John Taylor as the club’s chief operating officer.
And Taylor will start his newly-created role with the Sky Blues on Janaury 1 2024.
The news comes less than 24 hours after the club confirmed the departure of chief executive Dave Boddy who will bring an end to his seven-year stay in January next year.
Taylor spent several years with current Premier League side Nottingham Forest, joining the club as head of finance in 2017.
He later became finance director and then chief operating officer at the City Ground as Forest ended their 23-year exile from the top flight during his time with the club.
Taylor will report in his new role to Coventry’s executive chairman Doug King.
