COVENTRY City have appointed Paul Tyrrell as the club’s new chief operations officer ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 season.
Tyrrell begins his role as the club’s new chief operations officer on Monday, July 21.
He joins the Sky Blues from Premier League side Nottingham Forest where he was chief operating officer.
Tyrrell also previously held the role of chief corporate affairs officer at Aston Villa.
He has also worked for the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Everton, Fulham and Derby County.
Tyrrell will oversee the club’s overall day-to-day operations and will report to executive chairman and owner Doug King.
Coventry’s new chief business officer, Nicola Ibbetson, also begins her role with the Sky Blues on Monday, July 21.
