COVENTRY City boss Frank Lampard is on the shortlist for the Championship manager of the month award for March.
Lampard guided the Sky Blues to three wins from four matches last month with the only blip a home defeat against in-form Southampton.
Wins against Bristol City and Preston North End stretched the club’s winning run to six matches.
The Sky Blues won 2-0 at Ashton Gate and then won 3-0 at home against Preston.
However, Coventry saw their momentum halted by play-off contenders Southampton at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
City slipped to a 2-1 home defeat against Saints but bounced back to end the month with a 3-0 victory at Swansea City.
The result cemented the club’s place at the top of the Championship table in a month when Coventry’s promotion rivals faltered.
The other nominees for the manager award are Oxford United’s Matt Bloomfield, Southampton’s Tonda Eckert and West Bromwich Albion’s James Morrison.
The judging panel for the award comprises former Barnsley boss Danny Wilson, Sky Sports EFL expert Don Goodman and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
Lampard won the Championship manager of the month award for October earlier this season.
