COVENTRY City forward Fabio Tavares will join Burton Albion on a permanent deal at the end of his contract with the Sky Blues.
The 24-year-old scored two goals in 10 appearances on loan at Burton in League One last season.
And Tavares has now completed a permanent switch to the Brewers after helping Albion retain their League One status.
Tavares joined the Sky Blues from Rochdale in February 2021.
He went on to make 30 appearances for the club, scoring four goals including a memorable equaliser against Preston North End in the 2021/22 season.
Tavares also featured for Coventry in the club’s heartbreaking FA Cup semi-final defeat against Manchester United at Wembley in the 2023/24 campaign.
He managed just two appearances for the Sky Blues last term before finishing the season on loan at the Pirelli Stadium.
