COVENTRY City full-back Jay Dasilva has received a call-up to the Wales squad for the country’s upcoming World Cup qualifying matches.
Dasilva made 33 appearances for the Sky Blues last season as Coventry saw their season end in the Championship play-off semi-finals.
The 27-year-old started both legs of City’s semi-final with Sunderland.
And his performances for Coventry have earned him a place in Craig Bellamy’s Wales squad.
Wales are preparing for World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Belgium.
Bellamy’s side sit second in Group J after picking up four points from their opening two matches.
Dasilva has won two caps for Wales after previously representing England at youth level.
Wales play Liechtenstein on Friday, June 6 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Bellamy’s men then travel to Belgium on Monday, June 9 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the King Baudouin Stadium.
