COVENTRY City are ‘in dialogue’ with Swedish champions Mjällby AIF over the signing of winger Abdoulie Manneh.
The Sky Blues are reportedly ‘in negotiations’ with Mjällby over the singing of Manneh in the January transfer window, according to Swedish newspaper Expressen.
Expressen also report the deal would amount to a club-record fee received by the Swedish champions.
The 21-year-old has scored seven goals and provided three assists in the Swedish Allsvenskan this season.
And his displays helped Mjällby to a first-ever top-flight title with three matches left to play.
Manneh is a full Gambia international and has scored three goals in five caps for his national team.
According to Expressen, the winger almost joined Greek side Olympiacos in the summer only for the deal to fall through over personal terms at the last minute.
