COVENTRY City have made Spanish full-back Miguel Angel Brau the club’s first summer signing.
Brau will join the Sky Blues on July 1 upon the expiry of his contract at Spanish side Granada.
The 23-year-old left-back has signed a four-year contract and becomes Frank Lampard’s first summer signing.
Brau said: “It’s a great honour for me to be joining Coventry City.
“I can’t wait to put on the Sky Blue shirt and play for this great club in front of the fans.
“I know we will enjoy a lot of success together and I’m very grateful to everyone who has help me to arrive here.”
He scored two goals in 27 appearances for La Liga 2 club Granada last season.
Brau spent four years in Granada’s B team and also spent time on loan at Talavera.
The full-back suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in May 2023 which kept him sidelined until March 2024.
However, he progressed to Granada’s first team and made his La Liga debut as a substitute in a 7-0 defeat against Girona in the 2023/24 season.
