COVENTRY City midfielder Frank Onyeka has received a call-up to the Nigeria squad ahead of the upcoming March international break.
Onyeka has impressed for the Sky Blues since joining on a loan with an obligation to buy from Premier League side Brentford in the January transfer window.
The 28-year-old has made seven appearances for Coventry and helped Frank Lampard’s side embark on a six-game winning run which came to an end against Southampton last weekend.
Onyeka could feature in games against Iran (March 27) and Jordan (March 31) during the international window.
Both games will take place in Turkey due to travel restrictions imposed from the Iran War.
Onyeka has scored three goals in 41 caps for the Super Eagles and helped his country reach the semi-finals of the recent AFCON 2026 tournament.
