COVENTRY City midfielder Kai Andrews has joined Scottish Premiership side Hibernian on loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has made 10 appearances for the Sky Blues in all competitions this season.
Andrews returns to Scotland following a loan spell at Motherwell in the 2024/25 campaign.
The teenage midfielder made his senior international debut for Wales in September last year.
He last featured for Coventry in the club’s FA Cup third round defeat against Stoke City earlier this month.
Hibs head coach, David Gray said: “We’re excited to bring Kai into building and add extra strength in depth to our midfield options.
“We felt it was important that we brought in another combative and athletic presence in the middle of the pitch.
“Having watched him play at Motherwell last season, I know he understands the demands of the league – and we are all excited to work with him.”
Hibs sporting director, Malky Mackay added: “I’m delighted to bring a player of Kai’s calibre and potential to Hibs as we head into an important last six months of the season.
“Kai is a player with previous experience in this league – which is always extremely beneficial – and he has a good pedigree coming up from a top English Championship club and representing Wales internationally.
“I would like to thank both Dean Austin and Frank Lampard for their support in facilitating the loan move, and we’re looking forward to seeing him in green and white between now and the end of the season.”
Hibs currently sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership table.
