COVENTRY City raised more than £2,000 for the Guide Dogs charity before last weekend’s game against Preston North End.

The club raised a total of £2,237 as part of a pre-match collection at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Guide Dogs is one of the UK’s leading sight loss charities. Their expert staff, volunteers and life-changing guide dogs help people with sight loss live the life they choose.

The charity is almost entirely funded by donations. They are the only organisation to breed and train guide dogs in the UK.
