FOOTBALL - Coventry City see eight more fixtures selected for Sky Sports coverage

COVENTRY City will be shown live on Sky Sports eight times between the end of September and early January.

Sky Sports have confirmed their TV selections for the period from September 30 to January 6 next year.

And six of Coventry’s games will be shown live on Sky Sports Football with two on Sky Sports+.

However, only one of the selected fixtures has changed date.

Coventry’s trip to the Racecourse Ground to face Wrexham will now take place on Friday, October 1 with kick-off at 8pm.

The original fixture was due to take place on Saturday, November 1.




All of City’s other TV games remain on the same dates although kick-off times have changed.

Coventry’s clash with managerless Sheffield Wednesday will now kick off at 12.30pm. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports+ on Saturday, October 4.


City’s home game against Watford will also kick-off at 12.30pm. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports+ on Saturday, October 25.

The Sky Blues entertain beaten play-off finalists Sheffield United on Tuesday, November 4. Kick-off is now 8pm with the game live on Sky Sports Football.

Coventry host West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, November 22 with kick-off at 12.30pm. The fixture at the Coventry Building Society Arena is live on Sky Sports Football.

City’s last game before Christmas against Southampton has also been selected for TV coverage.

Coventry travel to Saints on Saturday, December 20 with kick-off at 12.30pm. Sky Sports Football will show the fixture live.

And City’s final game of the year against Ipswich Town will also be shown live on Sky Sports Football.

Coventry host the Tractor Boys on Monday, December 29 with kick-off at 7.45pm.

Sky Sports Football will also broadcast the Sky Blues’ trip to Birmingham City on Sunday, January 4 with kick-off now at 12pm.
