COVENTRY City have signed Ephron Mason-Clark from Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee.
The pacy forward has signed a deal with the Sky Blues until June 2028 but will return to Peterborough on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Mason-Clark has enjoyed an excellent campaign with promotion-chasing Posh, scoring 15 goals and providing eight assists in 36 matches across all competitions.
City boss Mark Robins said: “We are delighted to agree the transfer of Ephron to Coventry City.
“He is a pacy and exciting forward, who plays off the left, and has a great attitude both on and off the pitch.
“We’re really pleased to bring Ephron to the Club and we’re sure that our fans will be too, although we will have to wait until the summer to see him in a Sky Blue shirt.
“This will conclude our transfer business in this window.”
Mason-Clark added: “I am delighted to get the deal done. I really appreciate everyone behind the scenes who have made this possible.
“At Peterborough, both myself and the team are doing well. I can’t wait for what the rest of the season will bring and then to get the ball rolling here as a Coventry City player.
“It is going to be an honour to be a Sky Blue. I want to thank my family, for keeping me level headed, and the people at Coventry who have put in tireless hours to get this sorted. I also want to thank God, that my journey has led me here.”
The 24-year-old began his career with Barnet where he made 163 appearances and scored 19 goals in six seasons.
He made the move to Posh in the summer of 2022 and became club captain ahead of the current season.
