COVENTRY City have completed the loan signing of Romain Esse from Crystal Palace.
Esse becomes the club’s second signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Yang Min-hyeok from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 20-year-old will stay with the Sky Blues until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Esse said: “I’m delighted to join Coventry City.
“I’m excited to express myself on the pitch and help us fight for our goal.
“I look forward to meeting the boys, the Coventry supporters and I can’t wait to get started.”
Esse has made just eight appearances for Palace in all competitions this season including three in the UEFA Conference League.
He moved to Palace from Championship side Millwall in January last year after scoring seven goals in 66 appearances for the Lions.
Esse featured as unused substitute as Palace won both the FA Cup and Community Shield.
He scored for the Eagles against Brentford last season with his first touch for the club in the Premier League.
Esse can play in an attacking midfield role or on either flank and will wear the number 14 shirt.
