COVENTRY City will recognise and celebrate the impact made by ‘local community heroes’ before their game against Preston North End this weekend.
As part of the EFL’s ‘Community Weekends’, the club will present ‘Hero Pennants’ to members of Sky Blues in the Community – the club’s charity arm – and the family zone.
The presentation of the pennants will take place on the pitch before City host Preston on Saturday, February 22 with kick-off at 3pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
These are John from SBitC’s Dementia Active sessions, Alex from SBitC’s Down’s Syndrome sessions, Finley from Hereward College, Isabella from the Girls Emerging Talent Centre and Pat and Lynn from the Family Zone.
