FOOTBALL - Coventry City to mark International Women's Day at Preston fixture

Coventry Editorial 11th Mar, 2026   0

COVENTRY City will mark International Women’s Day at the club’s midweek fixture against Preston North End.

The Sky Blues host Preston tonight at the Coventry Building Society Arena with kick-off at 8pm.

Coventry will celebrate International Women’s Day at the game after the club did not have a fixture on the day of the occasion (Sunday, March 8).

The club will welcome players and coaches from sister club Coventry City Women and Girls as part of the club’s ‘reach, reward and support’ programme.

Coventry will also highlight the work done by their charity arm – Sky Blues in the Community (SBitC).

SBitC currently engage with more than 250 female players aged from seven to 16-years-old within their girls player development centre, advanced development centre and emerging talent centre.

More information reflecting the achievements of women at Coventry will feature in the matchday programme, across the club’s social media channels and around the CBS Arena.
