COVENTRY City look set to miss out on signing young winger Martial Godo with the Fulham man closing in on a deadline day move to Strasbourg.
Godo is set to join Ligue 1 side Strasbourg in a £6million deal, according to Sky Sports.
Sky reported Coventry’s interest in the 22-year-old earlier in the transfer window.
However, it appears the Ivory Coast and England youth international is now heading to Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old made two appearances for Fulham in the Premier League last season.
Godo also impressed on loan for Wigan Athletic in League One in the 2023/24 campaign.
The the Ivory Coast and England youth international scored four goals in 34 appearances for the Latics.
Godo joined Fulham from non-league side Margate after starting his career with Dartford.
Coventry sold captain Ben Sheaf to Wrexham in a reported £6.5m deal earlier on deadline day,
The Sky Blues are also close to signing centre-back Luke Woolfenden from Ipswich Town in a £4m move.
And young striker Norman Bassette has left the club to join Ligue 2 side Stade de Reims on a season-long loan deal.
The French club have an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan spell.
