COVENTRY City have added League One side Shrewsbury Town to their pre-season schedule as part of the club’s preparations for the 2023/24 season.
The Sky Blues will play Shrewsbury on Saturday, July 22 at Salop’s New Meadow home with kick-off at 3pm.
Town are currently managerless after former boss Steve Cotterill resigned at the end of the season having guided the club to an impressive 12th place finish in League One last term.
Salop’s squad contains a number of former Coventry players including Jordan Shipley, Tom Bayliss and Marko Marosi.
City start their pre-season campaign away at Forest Green Rovers before then playing Shrewsbury, Milton Keynes Dons and Exeter City.
