COVENTRY City will begin their preparation for the 2023/24 season with a pre-season training camp in Portugal next month.
The Sky Blues will depart the UK on the second weekend in July and will return to Ryton on July 17.
City will play a behind-closed-doors game while out in Portugal and the camp will form a crucial part of Coventry’s preparations ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Sky Blues boss Mark Robins said: “The tour is always an important part of our pre-season preparations for each new season.
“It is a tough week for the players and we put in a lot of hard work on the training pitch, and it will be a very focused environment during the tour.
“The camp will then conclude with a behind-closed-doors fixture. I ask that fans respect this, as neither the training sessions nor the game will be open to fans.
“We look forward to seeing our supporters again at the pre-season games back in England, and of course when the league season gets underway in August.”
