COVENTRY City under-21s reached the third round of the Birmingham Senior Cup with a 1-0 win against Stourbridge.
The game’s only goal came on 32 minutes as Elliot Betjemann’s strike proved decisive at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.
And the young Sky Blues will play Dudley Town in the third round of the competition.
Coventry’s under-21s are next in action against Leicester City in the Premier League Cup on Friday, January 31 with kick-off at 7pm at Leicester’s training ground.
