COVENTRY City under-21s returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory away at Sheffield Wednesday.
Goals from Rylie Siddall and Conrad Ambursley saw the young Sky Blues end a run of three straight defeats at Middlewood Training Ground.
The result means Coventry sit fourth in the Professional Development League North table.
Coventry went into the clash off the back of a heavy 9-0 home defeat against Wigan Athletic.
However, the young Sky Blues took the lead after just four minutes as Siddall found the net.
And City doubled their lead on 80 minutes when Ambursley struck as the Owls scored a consolation goal in injury time.
Coventry’s under-21s host Peterborough United on Wednesday, November 5 with kick-off at 3pm at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
