FOOTBALL - Coventry City under-21s start New Year with victory at Hull City

COVENTRY City under-21s started the New Year with an impressive 2-0 victory away at Hull City.

Goals either side of the break from Kai Yearn and Aidan Dausch secured the points for Mark Delaney’s side at York City’s LNER Community Stadium.

City were without youngster Kai Andrews after the midfielder completed a loan move to Scottish Premiership side Motherwell until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The young Sky Blues are next in action against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, January 14 with kick-off at 1pm at the Alan Higgs Centre.
